While some plot points are indeed a bit predictable, the series was very entertaining and well casted. It was quirky and had a lot of heart. It was a very fun watch and being a moderate Lee Joon Gi fan, I wanted to catch up on some of his lesser known series.

Andrea Freeman (played by Yaya DaCosta) is a district attorney who built a reputation for being among the best of the best.

While not Figura skilled as others in the firm, he gives his full effort to his tasks. He merienda decided to study law, but gave it up after struggling to understand the law books.

The series follows characters Bong Sang-pil and Ha Jae-yi who form the Lawless Law Firm. Sang-pil, a former gangster turned lawyer, seeks to avenge his mother and fight against those with absolute power. He often resorts to using his fists and loopholes in the law to achieve his goals.

And in the final moments of Season 2, Mickey narrowly avoided getting hit by a speeding car whose driver was very obviously sending him a message. Could this mysterious attacker be connected to Edén's case, or is it one of the many other enemies Mickey has made in his career? We'll see!

Given the show is based on the Michael Connelly novels series of the same name – Abogados caba of which there are seven books – there certainly isn't a lack of source material for the show to draw its plot from.

Ha Jae-yi was a very likable character for me, a strong female lead from the read more start-fighting discrimination in the justo systems where female lawyers aren't given the same respect. Instead of being a push over, her reactions are sometimes less thought-out but certainly relatable.

There were inklings that season two would be the last we saw of Neve Campbell – who plays Mickey's first wife Maggie McPherson – Campeón her role was drastically reduced.
